The wines of the Western Cape are produced in the South West of South Africa. The Western Cape region occupies an area of 125 000 Km2.
The influence of the Atlantic Ocean allows the climate to cool down, favouring the production of healthy grapes. The success of the wines from this region is due to the sauvignon and cabernet sauvignon grapes.
