Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru is produced in the vineyards of Burgundy, a vineyard in the east of France and more precisely in the wine region of the Côte de Beaune.
The Chassagne-Montrachet premier cru red wine has the French AOC label as well as the European AOP label. It also has the mention "premier cru". Only those producers whose vines enjoy a privileged exposure and soil have the right to produce premiers crus.
