Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru

Present on an area of about fifty hectares, Clos de Vougeot is a Grand Cru appellation of the Côte de Nuits may also be a domain. The vineyards of Clos de Vougeot are only located in the commune of Vougeot.

The vineyards of Clos de Vougeot benefit from several extremely diversified climates at an altitude of over 240 meters. The richness and diversity of soils brings wines with different personalities.

However, there are a few characteristics that run parallel to all these single-varietal Pinot Noir red wines. The wines of Clos de Vougeot have a beautiful aromatic persistence and offer a very good ageing potential (over 30 years for the best vintages).
