The Gevrey-Chambertin appellation covers more than 400 hectares in the communes of Brochon and Gevrey-Chambertin. 26 climates of Gevrey-Chambertin benefit from the Premier Cru classification. The vines are planted on the Côte; the Premiers Crus located on the top benefiting from brown limestone soils, while the vines entering the Gevrey-Chambertin Village benefit from limestone and clay.
The red wines of Pinot Noir of the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation present a pretty robe ranging from bright ruby to garnet. They give off fruity and floral aromas on the nose. These wines combine power, richness and a beautiful structure.
