The wines of the Côte-Rôtie are in part in the vineyards of the Rhone Valley. Indeed, the Côte-Rôtie appellation is the oldest in the Rhone Valley. Some even speak of the "original site of vine cultivation in Gaul". A few kilometers south of Vienne, the vine clings to the very steep slopes of the Côte Brune and Côte Blonde, facing south / southeast of the right bank of the Rhone. There are more than 230 hectares on the right bank of the Rhône. A historic vineyard, the oldest and most northern of all the Côtes-du-Rhône.
Côte-Rôtie are wines recognized for their authenticity, quality and the richness they develop in the mouth. Every wine lover should taste a great Côte-Rôtie. The prices of Côte-Rôtie wines have been increasing for a few years now but it is still possible to buy them without going broke.
