dudognon is a small, family-owned cognac house that has been producing cognacs for generations. this vsop (very superior old pale) cognac is aged in oak casks for a minimum of four years. it has a deep amber color and a rich, complex nose with notes of vanilla, oak, and dried fruits. on the palate, it is smooth and elegant, with flavors of caramel, toasted almonds, and a hint of spice. it has a long, satisfying finish with a touch of sweetness. this cognac is best enjoyed neat, as a digestif after a meal.
