The IGP Vaucluse is a departmental appellation that meets multiple production constraints. It obviously applies only to producers located in the Vaucluse department who request it. Among these producers of the IGP Vaucluse, some are to be discovered for the pleasure offered by their vintage, the Château des Tourettes in particular.
The grape variety of the IGP of the Vaucluse must necessarily be harvested separately. Vinification and maturing are done in separate vats. The presentation to the approval is made in mono-variety, on justification of the surface area planted with this grape variety. The grape varieties authorized in the appellation are Merlot, Syrah, Grenache, Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Viognier, but also emerging varieties such as Marselan, Caladoc, Roussanne, Marsanne, Chasan, Tempranillo, bringing new palettes of aromas and tastes.
