The wine in Australia was mainly founded by the colonist as early as 1788. Reds wines are produced here.
Among the 60 Australian wine regions spread from west to east, the best known are McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley (famous for its Syrah), Swan Valley, Mornington Peninsula and Yarra Valley (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay) are internationally renowned.
