Situated in a meander of the Rhone, not far from Orange and Avignon, the vineyard extends over the terraces and sunny hillsides of the four communes of Lirac, Roquemaure, Saint-Laurent-des-Arbres and Saint-Géniès-de-Colomas. The soils are as diverse as the grape varieties, but there is one unifying element: the Mediterranean climate.
The main grape varieties that go into the composition of Lirac rosé wine are: Cinsaut, Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre.
Lirac rosé wines have a soft pink tint, sometimes even ruby, offer red fruit aromas and almond notes, and finally present a certain nervousness, reinforced by the effect of the tannins.
