"located in morey-saint-denis, the origin of its name, clos de la roche grand cru, comes from its soil composed mainly of rocks. the clos de la roche grand cru 2013 from the maison faiveley is grown for 16 to 18 months in french oak barrels. this vintage reveals a deep ruby colour. the nose develops a complex bouquet of candied fruit aromas with some discrete woody notes. in the mouth, its attack is round and develops tannins that express their power. very complete, the clos de la roche grand cru 2013 also offers excellent tension in the mouth as well as a certain minerality. well structured, full-bodied and of a nice length, this wine is worthy of this famous grand cru. it is to drink between 2021 and 2025."
