The territory of the vineyard of the Southwest is very extensive, with about 33,000 hectares of vines and about thirty appellations. Contrary to other French vineyards, it is quite scattered and offers very different terroirs and wines.
Its climate is oceanic, close to that of Bordeaux, but there are obviously many nuances given its size. Sauvignon, big and small manseng, semillon, colombard, mauzac and arrufiac are the main grape varieties used to make white wine. White wines, can be dry or, on the contrary, fruity and lively.
