Castilla la Mancha is a Spanish wine region where one of the most important vineyards in the world was established at the end of the 19th century. The relief consists mainly of high plains surrounded by mountains. The very favorable climatic conditions present in this region have favored the optimal development of a true culture of the vine. In fact, the region of Castilla la Mancha alone produces half of the Spanish wines, with almost 450,000 hectares of vineyards.
With more than 300 wineries, the region of Castilla la Mancha will surprise wine lovers with its reds, wines recognized for their quality, and not forgetting sparkling wines. The red wines produced in this autonomous community of Spain are made from Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo or Merlot grapes.
