The Chassagne-Montrachet wine is produced in white and followed or not by a premier cru. There are many first growths on this appellation located between Puligny, Santenay and Montrachet.
The white Chassagne-Montrachet wine is very typical, indeed its dress is a very clear golden yellow with green reflections, it is limpid, brilliant, sparkling. In mouth the wine is of good attack, the matter reveals itself gradually on a rather dry frame, with a roundness still a little timid, the acidity is present and carries the wine well on an average final of white flowers, very pleasant. This wine deserves to be awaited, as it is often shy in its youth. A few years in the cellar and it will offer a very beautiful face, expansive, very chardonnay.
The Chassagne-Montrachet "Morgeot" white is one of the first growths that we find the most in the trade, it is a very elegant wine with a deep golden robe. It will be waited for more than 15 years in the cellar for exceptional years.
