Located on the sub-Voscian hills, between 200 and 400 meters above sea level, and ideally exposed, the Grands Crus benefit from maximum solar radiation and an extraordinary diversity of soils.
These assets, combined with a judicious choice of the grape varieties best adapted to each terroir, favour a slow and prolonged ripening of the grapes and the blossoming of aromas of great finesse.
On a smaller scale, the exposure of the slopes, their gradient, the soil's thermal storage capacity, the protection of the relief, the possible influence of a river induce a whole series of micro-climates, from which the 51 Grands Crus benefit first and foremost.
